Foster Taxes 8/2020

Foster Youth in Action is building a movement led by young people to radically transform the foster care system. I was one of two tax experts asked to join a game of online Jeopardy (over Zoom) covering tax topics. My team consisted of both adults that previously spent time in the foster care system as well as current foster parents. We lost by 100 points to the other team, but we had fun and learned a lot!
